Asian Association of Professionals Asian Association of Professionals 亚裔专家协会 (AAP)

AAP was founded in October 1992 and registered in Texas as CAPST, the Chinese Association of Professionals in Science and Technology. Over three decades it has grown from a network of Chinese American scientists and engineers into a community of nearly 1,000 members serving the wider Asian American community.

To reflect that broader membership, members voted to adopt the English name Asian Association of Professionals (AAP) and to update the association's mission.

We help members grow professionally, widen their industry reach and give back to the community. We build platforms for exchange, invest in young talent and encourage understanding across cultures — including an annual scholarship for outstanding Houston high school students.
